Spring Forward…Fall Back
Did you remember to change your clocks….turn back one hour and “gain” an extra hour of sleep? LOL, actually gain that hour that was lost when we changed the clocks ahead one hour in the springtime…
I love writing in the early hours of the morning…and with daytime arriving earlier this will be a great help. That extra hour of daytime will be handy in the mornings. Honestly though, when the time is available it really doesn’t matter if it is day or night for one to write! As well as loving early morning…..I am definitely a night owl. A study in contradictions in some ways I guess.
This is one of my favorite times of year! The air is crisp and cool, people are excited about the upcoming holidays and I enjoy planning to spend time with family. Last night I spent several minutes just staring into the night sky at the endless sea of stars…what is it they say….on a clear day you can see forever? It sometimes feels like it. I find this a great way to contemplate personal things as well as plan my writing…me and nature. And the quiet.
Take advantage of that “extra” hour…
